January 18 – PechaKucha 41

Charleston Arts Festival and Charleston Music Hall were pleased to continue our city’s PechaKucha tradition with its FORTY-FIRST edition on January 18, 2023.

The roster of stellar superstar creatives for this round included:

Alva Anderson – Violist and Singer

Parker Milner – Food Writer, Post and Courier

Susan Hull Walker – Founder and Creative Director, Ibu Movement

Shannon Vogt – Founder of The Void Theatre Company

Kate Ledbetter – Executive Director, Redux Contemporary Art Center

Patch Whisky – Artist and Muralist

LaFaye Benton – Vocalist and Performer

Keon Masters – Singer and Songwriter

Our emcees were Allyson Sutton and Joel Sadler, owners of Sightsee and veterans of PechaKuchas 38 and 28 respectively.

Patch Whisky also provided the amazing imagery for our poster and ancillary designs.   

Professor Ping AKA Josh Silverman, house DJ for PechaKucha Charleston, brought the tunes as always. 

PechaKucha 41 was also notable as the fifteenth in CAF’s collaborations with CMH.

May 3 – PechaKucha 42

Charleston Arts Festival and Charleston Music Hall were elated to continue our city’s PechaKucha tradition with its FORTY-SECOND edition on May 3, 2023.

Our emcees were the Cocktail Bandits, veterans of PechaKucha 31.

April 10 – PechaKucha 44

Charleston Arts Festival and Charleston Music Hall were elated to continue our city’s PechaKucha tradition with its FORTY-FOURTH edition on November 29, 2023.

Andy Brack, Editor and Publisher of Charleston City Paper and veteran of PK 42, was our emcee. 

As evermore, Josh Silverman rocked the Music Hall as our DJ.

In addition to presenting, Karl Zurfluh also provided the amazing imagery for the event’s signature poster and social media formats. 

PechaKucha 46 was also notable as the twentieth in CAF’s collaborations with CMH.
